Dedicated Youth Basketball Society (DYBS) is a Langley, BC nonprofit youth basketball society incorporated in British Columbia on September 2, 2026. The Society was established to formalize and expand community-focused initiatives developed through Dedicated Basketball Academy.
Founded in 2021 by Kelvin Smith and Jordyn Mitchell, Dedicated has grown from small community basketball programs into an established network of training, competitive teams, mentorship, school partnerships, and family support.
Dedicated Basketball Academy and Dedicated Youth Basketball Society are distinct organizations connected through shared leadership, history, and a commitment to youth development.

We work to reduce financial and social barriers to participation while creating spaces where young people can build confidence, form meaningful relationships, develop leadership skills, and feel that they belong.
